JUST GIVE ME A REASON

Each moment I think about you,I find  myself smiling.Never knew what it was that caused it.
I remember the first time we had our first conversation (you asking why),that was when
I  knew.As sudden as you had come then you vanished like vapor in the air.
We get to meet  new people each day, and, forget them, but not all of them.
You are among those I cannot get out of  my mind.
How I long  to have you in my arms, kiss your lips and say  I love you a thousand times, but time
can tell us.Hope is all I have now

LET THERE BE PEACE

I am a Kenyan youth barely in my twenties. This will be my first time to vote
in our very famous elections.I have seen the destruction and chaos
caused in the last elections and wouldn't want a repeat.I love my country
too much and I would crumble if it were to  go into civil unrest.
I am not alone, most of my fellow youth share my sentiments and have
vowed to vote for a leader and not a mere figure head who does
nothing else but chatter like a monkey. We want to see actions
not words of no worth.I know the current political scene is deemed
"fragile" by the international media houses, truth is that there
wont be a single drop of blood shed.We learn from our past,
and ours wasn't pleasant.

THE POLITICAL SCENE IN KENYA

If it were five years ago the cuurent political climate
would have been hot.Presently the country is experiencing
a relative calm which is abnormal for a country thats used
to rampage vandalism and destruction of property
of different tribes. The recent remarks by Raila Odinga
concerning a plot to rig the elections should be taken
as a form of incitment and should be prosecuted.

THAT PERSON WE ARE

That person we never seem to understand
what they think about when they sit
quietly and gaze aimlessly into the never
ending sky.So much do they think that the normal
happenings seem not to affect them a bit.
Many are the things that happen to them, but,
they always find it in them to help others.
They arent perfect nor rich sometimes they may
not even have the best education but
none the less they always find it in their
tender hearts to help, even, when its them
who need to be helped most.
Today sit down and smile cause
that person is YOU yes ME

KUDOS TO THE POLICE IMPOSTER

The person who impersonated a PPO should be
congratulated for exposing the flaws in our
security forces. That goes to show how willing
Kenyans can be when they want something.
The guy cant be blamed for trying to make a
living for his family, instead, blame should go
to our ''mheshimiwas'' (my foot) cause they
cant think of the nation but their humongous tummys
with appetites like pigs for our hard earned
money through taxes and numerous devious schemes
that fleece us millions of dollars.Even though I dont
totally agree with what he did,you have to give
the guy credit,he is a true Kenyan.
Do what you have to do to stay alive

TANA KILLINGS

Its with utmost disgust that a grown man can kill, rather,
slash a defenseless child. You wonder what is wrong
with US as a people of one country KENYA.It goes
to show how these mps have value for money and
not the life of the people they are supposed to lead and
protect. You have to give credit to the Kenya Police
cause they reacted fast enough and managed to
arrest some of the culprits.Still its not enough if
we are to move past the tribal barrier and start to
think ourselves as a people of the same nation rather
than different tribes after all we all belong to
